How to Hypergrid

Teleport in Firestorm

 

1. Open opensimworld.com
Browse or search for a place you would like to visit. Click its name to open the region
details page.
2. Check the listing
Read the region description, maturity rating and any access rules. In the Status
section, check the region status and when it was last checked. Online status can
change. 
3. Copy the HyperGrid field
Find the field labeled HyperGrid. Select the complete address and copy it (Ctrl+C on
Windows). Keep the host, port and full region name, including spaces.

Recommended method: copy the HyperGrid address into the World Map. 

1. Open the World Map

1. While logged in, choose World > World Map, use your Map toolbar button, or press
   Ctrl+M on Windows.
   2. Paste and find
   In the map's region search field, paste the full HyperGrid address. Click Find (or
   Search, if your skin uses that label). Wait for the destination to resolve.
   World Map | Search: [grid-host:port:Region Name] [Find] Select the destination, then click
   [Teleport]
   3. Click Teleport
   Confirm that the selected destination matches your intended region. Click Teleport and
   wait for arrival. Let the scene and your avatar finish loading before moving on.
   Alternative: use the website Hop button
   On the OpenSimWorld listing, look under Visit this region. Click Hop and allow your
   browser to open Firestorm. With your avatar already logged in, accept the destination's
   teleport prompt. If this does not work, use the Map method. 
   Alternative: a hop:// address
   Paste a full hop:// link into Firestorm's top location bar and press Enter; complete any
   teleport prompt. Hop links use slashes, while the Map example uses colons. Preserve
   the format supplied by the listing.
