firestorm 7.2.2 appears to be stable
As many of you know, I held off upgrading firestorm for a very long time because of instabilities. Recently I continued using 6.6 for a long time after other upgrades came out.. This weekend I switched to 7.2.2 and I can say no major issues so far! The best advice I can give you is remember to clean cache on a regular basis (once a week or when problems) by emptying cache location folder. This will solve 80% of the issues in opensim!
Other firestorm tips
- realize that Firestorm has amazing capabilities, but that does not mean your pc or your connection does. In the graphics section of your preferences menu, adjust Quality and speed, and then adjust draw distance. You want to be able to move easily and normally.
- recently I had a person complain about lag on the grid. He was on an old weak computer and and extremly poor wi fi connection. He had his settings at Ultra and 1024 meters! When he finally adjusted down....he could operate fine.
